TinyMCE trying to take a grip on the paste issue
Afraithe Spocke has been working hard trying to solve the issue with pasting in various browsers, cleaning up MS Office junk etc. The result is that the new paste plugin is now included in the SVN trunk and will be released with the next TinyMCE version sometime very soon.
On other news, Microsoft has implemented TinyMCE in their many forums, MSDN, Technet, Answers, Expression and the http://social.microsoft.com/Forums.

If this works as advertised, you are my new heroes.
April 21st, 2009 at 09:53Well it has been a long standing problem with pasting from word, still quirks left, but it’s a step in the right direction.
April 21st, 2009 at 14:03This is an excellent development and one I have been keenly following for some time. I’m particularly happy with the improved support for lists.
Can’t wait to get this into the next JCE release!

April 23rd, 2009 at 08:16I hope you’re all as eager to donate to the TinyMCE cause than you are leeching this paste function.
Remember that someone has put in a lot of hard work, so that you don’t have to.
Props to Swedish developers.
